HCL India, ITSA + FrogIdeas kick off recruitment revolution with the coolest interview ever

Cool1.jpgHCL India, an IT services provider, which has locations in 31 countries has launched the first-ever Twitter recruitment campaign to find five qualified individuals, one of whom will work on a one-year project from the nearest HCL ofice in his/here country.

The global campaign, #coolestinterviewever, has been created in partnership with ITSA and FrogIdeas.

This month HCL started conducting a series of ‘interviews’ exclusively over Twitter, offering the winning candidate an opportunity to work on a year-long strategic project with the company’s top management.

Cool2.jpgOne individual will be selected for the positions of Ideapreneurship Evangelist, Big Data Guru, Hacker-in-Chief, Digital Voyager and Womenspiration, and one person will be chosen as the overall winner.

In addition to working with HCL, the winner will receive a prize of $75,000 and access to an HCL mentor in their particular field. In concert with HCL’s employee first, customer second management philosophy, this initiative is one of the company’s many approaches to finding new talent. #CoolestInterviewEver, which began with a 30-day teaser campaign to test waters, is being run for three consecutive weeks, connecting participants from all over the world with HCL HR executives through Twitter.

The top five applicants will participate in one-on-one interviews over the social media platform. In the third and final week, HCL will select a winning candidate to serve for 12 months in a role chosen from a given list. These “cool” job profiles are tailor made for those who are young-at-heart and excel in their fields of expertise.

We developed short films that were designed specifically for the twitter audience. We thoroughly enjoyed co-creating with Apurva’s team at HCL and the highly passionate Frog Ideas.
