FF Shanghai has been appointed by Turner as the promotional agency to introduce the global megahit comedy Rick and Morty in China. It will also be the consulting partner in charge of strategy and creative solutions for other popular Turner franchises in China, including: Tuzki, We Bare Bears and The Powerpuff Girls.

Rick and Morty is an ambitious, half-hour animated sci-fi comedy and the flagship original franchise for Turner’s Adult Swim programming block. The show follows Rick, a reckless, hyper-intelligent scientist, and his grandson, Morty, a typical 14-year-old high school freshman.

Bare Bears.jpgGrizz, Panda, and Ice Bear are just three outsiders trying to find their way in, and if they can get some ice cream (or fat free frozen yogurt, if possible) on the way there, all the better. Each episode deals with the Bears’ everyday misadventures finding food, goofing around, and dealing with each other and the world around them. Whatever the situation, it’s obvious that being a bear in the civilized, modern world is not easy. We Bare Bears is already well known in China, and is quickly becoming a trend icon for the Chinese millennial.

Powerpuff.jpgBlossom, Bubbles and Buttercup aren’t your average little girls from Townsville: together, they form the superhero team known to the city as The Powerpuff Girls! When they’re not scrapbooking, working on homework or hanging out at home, the girls serve as the defenders of Townsville.

The Powerpuff Girls is an animated comedy produced by Cartoon Network Studios, and is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The show and its characters have become global icons for women empowerment and are the original ambassadors of girl power.

Tuzki.jpgBorn in 2006, Tuzki has evolved to become a symbol of China’s youth, and has become the most original way of expressing themselves online. This unique rabbit – created with simple but distinctive black and white lines – is known for his wise thinking and exaggerated body movements. Tuzki’s personality and cool attitude has made him a genuine icon for Asia, establishing himself as one of the most recognizable characters in China.
