LIA partners up with McCann Health to help promote its Gorilla Doctors creative competition

Kwitonda Mugeni baby 4 (2).jpgLondon International Awards (LIA), an international Awards Show that believes in creative excellence and perpetuating the spirit of global creativity, has today announced it is partnering with McCann Health, one of the world's most creatively awarded global health communications networks, to boost the promotion of its Gorilla Doctors creative competition.

The Gorilla Doctors are dedicated to conserving Wild Mountain and Eastern Lowland gorillas through life-saving veterinary medicine and a One Health approach. This international team of veterinarians is the only group providing these critically endangered animals with direct, hands-on care in the wild.
Says Aussie expat June Laffey, chief creative officer, McCann Health New York: "We're incredibly proud to partner with LIA to help promote the Gorilla Doctors competition and encourage more members of the global creative community to get involved in this worthy cause. Helping these doctors maintain a thriving gorilla population impacts more than the individual gorillas: it also benefits the local communities, other wildlife, and the ecosystems they share."

Says Marcia Goddard, chief creative officer, McCann Health New Jersey and president of the 2018 LIA Medical Jury: "We've also galvanized the McCann Health global creative community to come up with a powerful creative idea to help raise awareness of the great work these doctors are doing and motivate more people to support them as well."

I am confident we will see amazing ideas from all over the world to help protect and preserve a species that shares so much of our human DNA. In helping these mountains gorillas, we are helping mankind."

There is no fee to enter. All entries must be submitted by September 7th, 2018

The Prize:  The winning individual or team will win an Ecotour donated by Terra Incognito Ecotours for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to visit Rwanda, home to the critically endangered Mountain Gorillas. In addition, the team will be invited to participate at LIA 2019 in Las Vegas. The prize will be awarded to two person maximum.

All entries received will be judged on site during the London International Awards judging and Creative LIAisons program in Las Vegas on October 6th.
