10 finalists make it through to the shortlist stage of the HK4As Awards for University Students

Attachment 3  StudentsThe HK4As Awards for University Students this year has produced 10 finalists after an intensive judging by The Association’s Creative Directors.

 

This is an annual event organised by the HK4As to encourage creativity in the next generation and identify future stars in advertising field. University Students find this avenue as a useful step to enter advertising industry as well as getting a feel of what to expect in this chosen career. Local Universities have been enthusiastically supporting this industry award as many of its past winners now hold key positions in HK4As’ Agencies.

Attachment 2  StudentsThis year, the theme comes from an International Judge of HK4As Kam Fan Awards, Nuntawat (Golf) Chaipornkaew, who devised a competition on “Moderate Use of Mobile Phone”.

 

Three local Creatives from HK4As Agencies: Kit Koh, Executive Creative Director of BBDO, Lili Jiang, Creative Director of Cheil & Sammy Lau, Group Creative Director of Dentsu judged the 135 entries from the Students hailing from 16 educational institutions. They include University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Design Institute, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.

 

The winners of 2017 HK4As Students’ Award will be announced and honoured in the coming HK4As Kam Fan Awards Presentation which will be held on 24th November, 2017.
