Yuya Furukawa, Suthisak Sucharittanonta and Kazoo Sato fill top three positions in Campaign Brief Asia’s Top 20 ECDs Creative Rankings

Yuya_Suthisak_Kazoo.jpgThe three most awarded creative leaders over the past two year award season are Dentsu Tokyo ECD Yuya Furukawa, BBDO Bangkok’s CCO Suthisak Sucharittanonta and TBWA Hakuhodo Tokyo ECD Kazoo Sato. The three lead the talented list of executive creative directors and chief creative officers pictured below in the Campaign Brief Asia ranking of the top 20 creative leaders in Asia over the 2016-2017 creative awards season.

Dentsu Tokyo is by far Asia’s most awarded ad agency and Furukawa has an unassailable position at #1 in this Creative Ranking Table. Sucharittanonta and Sato are two of the big improvers this year – moving up from #5 and #11 respectively last year.

Masaru Kitakaze from Hakuhodo Inc Tokyo maintains #4 in the Ranking.

Moving right up this year is Ogilvy & Mather Thailand’s creative leaders Nopadol Srikieatikajohn and Wisit Lumsiricharoenchoke. They jointly move to #5, up from #12 last year.

New to the this year’s Top 20 ECD Ranking are CJ Worx Bangkok’s Saharath Sawadatikom at #9; BBH Singapore’s Scott McClelland (#11); TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno Philippines’ Melvin Mangada (#12); TBWA Thailand’s Veradis Vinyarath (#13); Reed Collins from Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong (#14); J Walter Thompson Thailand’s Satit Jantawiwat (#18); and Cheil Hong Kong’s Paul Chan (#20)

Creative Rankings Top 20 ECD 2017.jpgIt should be noted that Scott McClelland (BBH Singapore), CJ Tan (BBDO Malaysia) and Satit Jantawiwat (JWT Thailand) have all left their respective agencies, however they have been included in this ranking as the campaigns that won all of their awards was created while they lead the creative departments.

These Campaign Brief Asia Agency Rankings are the combined totals of awards won over the past two years – 2016 and 2017. The period covered begins with the Korean-based Ad Stars awards in August 2015 through to the recent Cannes Lions in June 2017.
