My India.jpgTo mark the 70th Independence Day of India, One India Foundation Centre for Design & Innovation created a powerful and moving song called Vande Mataram – a prayer for the nation. Conceptualised by Creativeland Asia and composed by the legendary advertising jingle maker Rupert Fernandes, the lyrics have been penned by noted lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya through powerful verses.

The song captures the patriotism and love for the motherland as the ultimate belief and pegs it above everything else. The song has been sung by child prodigies Shivam Mahadevan and Adnan Hussain.

My India 2.jpgMy India 3.jpgThe song is brought further alive by a video directed by Kartik Ramnathkar which has numerous children holding placards and sending out a message of positivity about an India they see emerging. The placards capture a sense of positivity and optimism about a changing new India, in line with Prime Minister Modi’s call for a new India.

Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appreciated One India Foundation’s effort on Twitter and described it as thoughtful and creative. He also urged people to watch the video. The video has since garnered immense support across social media with a reach of 19 lakh+ and over half a million views.
