Ang, Stiebel, Vosloo.jpgiris Singapore is expanding its in-house content production capabilities with three key hires. Tasmin Vosloo and Jenni Stiebel join the agency as Producers and Pamella Ang as Content Editor.

The appointments signal the agency’s intent in having greater control over the craft of its work, from pre-production to post. It is a further measure to maintain the agency’s commitment to creative storytelling and ensure the highest level of quality and service when bringing ideas to life for all existing and future clients.

As social content platforms continue to be an intrinsic part of everyday lives, it is a must for the agency to expand and enhance its production skill sets in-house. As the medium grows, so should the quality of any content that feeds them.

In their new roles, Vosloo (pictured above right), Stiebel (centre) and Ang (left) will be leading iris’ in-house video production arm, which has created branded campaigns for clients including Philips, Shell, Marina Bay Sands, and LEGO. They will report to Executive Creative Director, Ed Cheong.

Cheong said, “We owe it to ourselves and our clients to be smarter and more uncompromising in making any production budget work best for the work itself. To do so, we need likeminded talents. Tasmin and Jenni have been phenomenal since coming onboard. They take so much pride in the craft of the content, that it’s been just inspiring to work alongside them daily. And in taking the first step in building our own post-production division, Pamela is a real coup. She has been one of the most impressive editors we have ever collaborated with.”

“I’m stoked to have this talented trio onboard as we up our game in producing the goods our brave clients deserve.”

Born and bred in South Africa, Vosloo joins iris with over 8 years of experience, producing and directing across a broad range of formats in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Hong Kong. Her experiences in the world of film have seen her lead work for the likes of Channel NewsAsia, E News Channel Africa as well as Sony during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Stiebel, who is from Germany, joins the agency with over 8 years of experience. Prior to her appointment, she served at Rabbicorn Films GmbH as well as one of Europe’s biggest production houses, Markenfilm GmbH & Co KG in Hamburg, where she produced work for a wide range of brands, including Mercedes Benz, Commerzbank, IKEA, Citroen, Sixt and Unilever. Stiebel later relocated to Singapore and most recently served as a producer in post-production house VHQ Media.

Ang comes onboard iris, bringing with her over 10 years of editing experience, including for films, reality television programmes, original and branded content, as well as corporate videos. She joins iris after 4 years at boutique video agency, The Flying Kick Asia, as Video Editor and Post Producer. She was also previously at Spinn Pte Ltd for more than 3 years, working as Head of Post Production/Video Editor & Motion Graphics Animator.
