FCB Jakarta and Nivea Men capture the inspiring journey of legendary footballer BePe
In their journey to connect with young Indonesian men, Nivea men has launched a campaign which builds on the football campaign with Indonesia’s iconic footballer Bambang Pamungkas, aka BePe. The digital campaign conceptualized by FCB Jakarta captures the inspiring journey of BePe who went the extra mile and was a catalyst for change for Indonesian football.
“Nivea Men, which is one of the leading men’s personal care brands, enjoys strong awareness and consideration. To further the strong functional credibility, we wanted to find a platform, which emotionally engages Indonesian men. Working on the local insight for men, the journey is more important than the destination we wanted to root in the brand idea of #Prepare to Inspire’ which connects well with our audience and also our product,” said Sony Nichani, Managing Director FCB Jakarta.
“Everyone believes they know Bepe through the success he has enjoyed over the years, but it’s not been an easy journey is what we wanted to show”, said Ravi Shanker, Executive Creative Director FCB Jakarta. “We executed the emotional narrative in an interesting way which encapsulates BePe’s journey is interspersed with his life changing milestones, where he constantly reinvented and challenged himself to make a difference to his country. Also, keeping in mind the insight, we wanted to show, how the journey of life is never-ending.”
