Airbnb launches in India with the message "Why go there when you can Live There"

Live There_9.pngAirbnb has launched its latest marketing campaign in India, Live There, designed to encourage people to change the way they experience the world around them. Coupled with the company's recent Trips launch in the country, Airbnb urges travelers to experience a different side of a city, immersing themselves in communities through the eyes of locals.

Live There_1.pngThe Live There campaign inspires travellers to reimagine the way they travel, showcasing authentic, curated experiences made possible through Airbnb and its people-powered community. The Live There TVC was shot in Paris and will be aired as 15-second, 30-second and 60-second versions across a variety of channels and platforms including print, digital, out-of-home, and social media.
Live There_4.pngThe campaign firmly emphasizes Airbnb's  global mission to ensure that people feel they 'Belong Anywhere'. Urging guests to break away from mundane travel experiences by discovering destinations through the eyes of local residents, the new campaign aims to connect millions of hosts and guests around the world to participate in immersive travel experiences.
Live There_5.jpgSpeaking on the launch of the campaign in India, Amanpreet Bajaj, Country Manager, Airbnb India said, "The way people travel is transforming as people increasingly seek more meaningful travel itineraries, and wish to have unique and personalized experiences. Live There embodies the philosophy that the best way to discover new places when we travel is to be able to live the way locals do. We hope that, with Airbnb, Indian travelers are inspired to make the most of their travel experiences and can truly immerse themselves in the culture of a city like a local."
He adds, "With the recent launch of Trips in India, Airbnb is striving to take travel to the next level by making it more experiential and magical. Trips offer travelers unprecedented access to local places and interests guided by the people who make communities unique - the locals."
Juliana Nguyen, Regional Brand Marketing Director, APAC at Airbnb said, "Through Live There, we are urging people to think outside of the box when traveling to a new city by living in the heart of local neighbourhoods and experiencing the hospitality and interests of hosts. We want them to not just 'go' to a city or 'stay' in a city, but 'live there' and experience it, exactly how a local would do".

Should be 'don't VISIT there, go there' - 'don't go there, live there' suggest the exact same thing.
