Speaking about the Young Lotus Workshop, Wain Choi, Chief Creative Officer, Cheil Worldwide (pictured left) said, "I'm looking forward to being Chairman of the Young Lotus Workshop. I am a firm believer that the future of our industry depends on encouraging young, passionate people to pursue a career in our industry, and I hope to share some of the wisdom I've gleaned over the course of my career."
Sagar Mahabaleshwarkar.jpgThe first day of the Young Lotus Workshop saw Sagar Mahabaleshwarkar, Chief Creative Officer, Cheil India (pictured left) presenting an interesting take on Navrasa - 9 emotions and how these run in the stream of our lives. In a country with 27 states, 9 union territories and almost 1652 mother tongues, Mahabaleshwarkar threw light on art of storytelling that would touch over a billion population! The engaging presentation shook the creative minds in the room!

Mahabaleshwarkar added, "The workshop is an extremely exciting place to see the infinite creativity under one roof! I am glad I am a part of this workshop and am able to motivate these young Asian minds in some way."

At the workshop, the creative line of speakers from Cheil combined to spark deep discussion and connection. Among other speakers, Kyoungju Lee, Creative Director Cheil Worldwide spoke about Weapon for the Everyday Creative and Satit Jantawiwat, Chief Creative Officer, Cheil Thailand shared his views on Creative Leap.

Following their workshops with Cheil Worldwide, the Young Lotus teams will have 24 hours to respond to a client "brief". The best teams will present their ideas on stage at AdFest on Saturday 25th March in a session called 'Cheil Worldwide Presents Young Lotus 2017: Create with a Swagger'.
