DDB Singapore crowned agency of the year and tops the Hall of Fame Awards 2016 with 16 wins

DDB-Group-Sg-_HOF-AOTY-2016_final.jpgDDB Group Singapore emerged on top again at the Hall of Fame Awards 2016, with a record 16 awards across 30 categories. The agency group retained the coveted title of Creative Agency of the Year for the eighth consecutive year, bagged eight trophies in the People and Team Categories and added six campaign awards to its haul.

DDB Group’s client StarHub also emerged the big winner, clinching the Brand of the Year accolade – for the fifth time. In recognition of its work for StarHub, DDB was also awarded one gold for Digital Design for StarHub Entreprise website and two silvers for ‘Majulah Moms‘, in the category of For Good and Content Marketing.

For the best campaign categories, DDB and Tribal were awarded a gold for Social Campaign of the Year for Ministry of Communication and Information’s (MCI) “Make it Better” campaign. It also won a bronze for MCI’s “MediShield Life – PGP” campaign for Content Marketing Idea.

 

McDonald’s “McDelivery CRM Pilot” picked up a silver in the category of Direct Marketing of the Year.

 

In celebration of the industry’s best talent, Jeff Cheong, Head of Tribal Worldwide Singapore was awarded Creative Agency Head of the Year. Our rising stars dominated the wins in the people category: Koo Ze-hou was named Rising Star of the Year (Planner), Joseph Tan for Young Talent of the Year (Account Servicing), Khalid Osman picked up Creative Director of the Year, Marvin Liang won Rising Star of the Year (Creative), Michael Chin was awarded Young Talent of the Year (Creative), and Josiah Ng earned the accolade of Rising Star of the Year (Digital/Social).

 

In the Team category, Creative Team of the Year was given out to the DDB creative duo Michael Chin and Sid Lim.

 

The Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards is a prestigious annual award ceremony organised by the Institute of Advertising Singapore, which recognises the excellence and outstanding achievements of the Singapore advertising industry. This year, the Hall of Fame received over 140 finalists across 30 categories.
