Creative Rankings: Dentsu Inc Tokyo tops Creative Agency rankings table with Ogilvy & Mather Singapore #2 and McCann Mumbai #3

Campaign Brief Asia_Creative Rankings_2016_Agency top 20_edited-1.jpgFor the fourth time in a row Dentsu Inc Tokyo has topped the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings.

The Japanese powerhouse did not score as many Ranking Points as in previous years, yet they still sit at the top of the rankings chart by a comfortable margin. In total Dentsu Tokyo amassed 2370 points from creative wins at the top global and regional award shows.

Only 15 Ranking points separate the next three agencies. Ogilvy & Mather Singapore had a great year at D&AD and One Show and moved up 14 places to #2 overall with 1135 points.

In #3 position, just 10 points behind Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, is McCann Worldgroup Mumbai. The agency is one of Asia’s most consistent performers in our Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings having also placed #3 last Creative Rankings.

Hakuhodo Tokyo drops two places to #4 with a total of 1120 points.

At #5 is BBDO Bangkok, one of the star performers this year with an improvement of 55 places.

Rounding out the top six agencies is Hakuhodo Kettle Tokyo on 895 points.

The Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings are based solely on creative performances over the July 2015 to June 2016 Award show year.

The regional award shows counted are: Ad Stars 2015; Spikes Asia 2015; AWARD Awards 2015; AdFest 2016. The International shows included are: Clio Awards 2015; London International Awards 2015; New York Festivals 2016; One Show 2016; D&AD 2016; and Cannes Lions 2016.

Print Craft, Radio Craft & Film Craft, PR and Healthcare categories are not included in the Creative Rankings. A full breakdown of the points allocation for each show is included in our Campaign Brief magazine distributed at the Spikes Asia Festival and in the attached PDF.
