Aste.jpgHighly awarded creative Aste Gutierrez has moved to Singapore to join BBH as Creative Director on the Nike business. Gutierrez signed on with BBH earlier this year from Fred & Farid Shanghai and has been working on a major Nike project in Manila. He has previously worked at AKQA Shanghai, BBDO Guerrero and Party New York.

The Philippine-born copywriter won his country’s first Cannes Grand Prix, D&AD Yellow Pencil and Grand Clio, and was selected to Campaign-Asia’s Digital A-List 2016. He has helped lead agencies to multiple Creative AoTY wins – including three times from Campaign-Asia, and AdAge’s prestigious International AoTY nod for 2016.

Scott McClelland, ECD, BBH Asia Pacific said, “Aste brings with him a great creative mind and a relentless energy that seems to know no bounds. He is a true black sheep.”

Gutierrez (pictured above) said, “I’ve long been a fan of the leadership and work coming out of BBH Singapore – what they’ve built in this agency is staggering. From our very first conversation, I was sold, and keen to participate any way I can.”

Gutierrez has already hit the ground running at BBH with his first campaign – Nike Unlimited Manila.
