Lin-Baden (pictured right) will take over responsibility for the region from Jean Lin (left), Isobar Global CEO, who held the position from 2010 and retained the role following her promotion to Global CEO in 2014.

In her new role, Lin-Baden will drive strategic growth to expand Isobar’s capabilities and accelerate business growth throughout the region. She leads the Isobar Asia Pacific team headed by Sven Huberts, Regional Managing Director and Sandipan Roy, Regional Strategy Director.

Lin-Baden joined Isobar China in 2007 as Managing Partner when she folded her agency into Isobar (then wwwins Consulting). In May 2013, she was promoted to CEO of Isobar China Group, and currently leads five digital agencies with more than 1,000 people across six cities. Isobar China Group has seen a six-fold increase over the last four years and is one of the fastest-growing and most established digital agencies in China in terms of revenue, awards and reputation.

Lin-Baden will continue to be based in Shanghai and lead the Isobar China Group as CEO, in addition to her new responsibilities. She will report directly to Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific and Jean Lin, Isobar Global CEO. Lin-Baden is also a member of the Isobar Global Executive board.

Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific, said, “Jane has proven herself to be a strong leader and has grown the Isobar business to become one of the leading digital agency groups in China. With her leadership experience and focus on innovation, Isobar will be able to continue its great growth momentum across the region and achieve even more success for its clients and the group.”

Lin said, “I have worked closely with Jane for the past ten years, and have witnessed her progress to a leader with integrity and a tremendous energy for innovation. Isobar China Group is now the largest profit contributor to Isobar globally. Our innovation focus on Brand Commerce brings brand inspiration and transaction closely together, and supports many of our clients’ successes in one of the most challenging markets – China. I am extremely confident that with Jane’s leadership, and fueled by the success in China, we can further expand our Asia Pacific offering to deliver growth with our clients.”

Lin-Baden said, “Clients want simplicity and an agency partner who gets the point: developing both brand and commerce for them. As APAC increases in digital maturity, I see tremendous opportunity to bolster our innovation and commerce execution capabilities through our APAC hub strategy. I will focus on expanding our agency network by way of collaborative integration, M&A partnerships and investment in innovation that matters to clients’ businesses.”
