DigitasLBi Hong Kong bolsters management team with Damien Tew moving to managing director, Maria Delamain joins as client partner and Kristina Walden is to head up media

DLBi HK.jpgGlobal marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has bolstered their Hong Kong management team following a series of recent new client wins including global agency for Shangri-La and Swire Properties

As part of DigitasLBi Hong Kong expansion, Damien Tew (pictured centre) has moved from his role as Managing Director of Shanghai into the role of Managing Director for Hong Kong. Tew will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of the agency in Hong Kong. Tew will report into Annette Male, CEO APAC.

Tew said, “Having helped set up our Hong Kong operations more than 2 years ago, I am excited to be back to lead this fantastic team at a time of rapid growth. The Hong Kong team have achieved a lot over the last year and we remain committed to driving continued growth for our clients through our unique blend of data, creativity and technology.”

Maria Delamain (pictured right), Client Partner and part of Team Shangri-La moves across from Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong where she ran the Shangri-La and Nestle business. Delamain has a strong luxury brand experience having previously worked with Patek Philippe, Emirates and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.

Delamain commented on the new role, “I’m incredibly excited to be part of the team. Shangri-La choosing DigitasLBi as their lead agency is an accurate reflection of the clarity and courage of their ambitions as well as their commitment of wanting to do things differently”.

Kristina Walden (left), has joined as Head of Media for Hong Kong working predominantly on Shangri-La as well as across other client business.

Walden started her career in Silicon Valley start-up land before moving across to Razorfish and MediaVest where she focused heavily on data driven media strategy, planning and activation. Prior to joining DigitasLBi Kristina worked at Zenith in Hong Kong as General Manager.

Walden commented, “I’m thrilled to be part of the DigitasLBi family and able to put my experience in direct response driven media into play for Shangri-La and other client business”.
