76 shortlists in Outdoor Lions for Asia: J Walter Thompson Singapore, Y&R Shanghai + Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore lead Asia’s performance

Traditionally a strong category for Asia, this year is no exception with Asia-based agencies having 76 entries to make the cut. In total 495 entries were shortlisted in the category.

Singapore was the best performing country lead by J Walter Thompson with 13 shortlists. Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore has 8 shortlists followed by DDB Singapore and MullenLowe Singapore with 3 and 2 respectively.

Thai agencies scored 19 shortlists, lead by Ogilvy & Mather with 6. TBWA Bangkok, Illusion Bangkok and Monday Bangkok all had 3 shortlists.

China’s total of 13 was dominated by Y&R Shanghai’s 11 shortlists, with J Walter Thompson Beijing having the other .

The Philippines have 6 entries through to the metal round of judging – all of them from TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno Manila.

India has 5 shortlists with DDB Mudra and Ogilvy & Mather getting 2 each.

J Walter Thompson’s 13 finalist were all for their “Alcohol Art” campaign for the Automobile Association of Singapore. Y&R Shanghai’s 11 shortlists are for their The Samaritans campaign.
