iris planning team.jpgiris Singapore adds to its planning team in Singapore, with the appointment of Alasdair Gray as Senior Planner. He will report to Mark Hadfield, Regional Planning Director (APAC).

Gray’s move from the network’s HQ in London, is a significant step in iris building a world-class, fearless planning team in Singapore, made up of a diverse collective of specialists from various backgrounds and skill sets – that will help to further challenge the current approach to planning in Asia, and help to push greater and more effective ideas with brands.

Gray joins from iris in London, where as a Senior Planner he played a key role in continuously driving strategic planning capabilities to new levels across FMCG, electronics and B2B clients such as Samsung, Nestle and Club Wembley. Prior to iris, he was a Social Media Strategist at Saatchi & Saatchi, and a Planner at Five by Five. Some of his standout work includes Nescafé Original’s Big Starts campaign and the European launch of Samsung Serif TV.

As a Senior Planner, Gray will be responsible for championing overall brand strategy and strategic planning for some of the agency’s biggest accounts including Samsung, Shell and other B2B clients.

Hadfield said, “Alasdair is an iris Planner through and through: Hungry, smart, multi-disciplinary, loves data and challenges! I enjoyed my time working with him at iris London immensely. He brings with him excellent experience from both B2C and B2B industries, across a range of categories. Alasdair is a great addition to our team.”

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining iris Singapore when the agency is sweeping the floor with awards and increasingly getting recognition for its strong commitment to creativity and effectiveness across every piece of work delivered. The dynamic and integrated culture, as well as opportunities to work on exceptional brands were also huge draws,” said Gray.
