[TNF] McMURDO Campaign Image (1).jpgIn 2014 The North Face Korea set a marvelous record among thousands of Korean brand campaigns by reaching the first 12 million views on YouTube and it also has recorded finalists at the world’s Top international advertising awards such as Cannes Lions Festivals, New York Festivals, and CLIO(Sports) Awards. INNORED Seoul planned a new campaign in order to wake customers up with The North Face Korea’s new down jacket named from the largest south pole station ‘McMurdo’. [TNF] McMURDO Campaign Image (2).jpgThe campaign idea is to explore every minute with The North Face Korea McMurdo! As a top international outdoor brand, The North Face Korea is eager to provide the genuine outdoor experience so customers can grasp the originality and innovative quality of its new McMurdo products.

INNNORED opened a pop-up store in Seoul in the middle of a huge downtown mall where they recreated a south pole camp where customers could not only try on McMurdo down jackets but they could feel as if they were actually in the south pole camp with a dog sled through 3D VR.

At that moment, their fixed chair gets moving by a real Siberian huskies sled and they crash through the pop-up store’s wall at speed. They rush through the shopping mall and while the dogsled is moving fast they got the chance to get a McMurdo down jacket waiting at the finish line! Customers took up the sudden challenge and were able to experience the real spirit of the brand.

This campaign video has been gaining great reviews on YouTube and Facebook websites. The video has been independently shared on online communities and fan pages rapidly by stimulating customers’ curiosity with an amazing challenging story which was unimaginable in daily life.
