Mark Toia shoots 5 minute brand film for 2XU

2xu.jpgSeven Sunday Films director Mark Toia is behind a new campaign for 2XU compression athletic wear. The five minute brand film follows 25 athletes from Australia and the United States, and was shot in 23 locations over 14 days.

With a wide open brief and complete creative freedom Toia set about creating an extraordinary film that compellingly showcases both the product and athletes in action.

VIEW THE SPOT
Shot with only a 3 man camera department, a pair of Red Dragons and a Movi rig the completely from the hip film is something quite extraordinary to enjoy.  The team were given a list of athletes and locations and shot what they found.

Says Toia "We quite literally ran after athletes for hours on end day after day...ended up with a few stubbed toes and a pulled muscle in my shoulder, but it was a great shoot none the less". "2XU were amazing... having the trust to let me do what we do best"

Most of the post was done by Toia with the exception of the CG sequence being finished at Method Melbourne. The Music was done by Nylon.
