Bedi was previously the Chief Creative Officer at Rediffusion Y&R India for the past two years, working closely with all major client teams across India. “I’m extremely thankful to our clients at Rediffusion who supported our work and the amazing account teams who tirelessly executed it, helping us emerge as a top-ten agency in India,” said Sohal. “After two decades in India and the Middle East, I’m now ready to explore the exciting and emerging markets of South East Asia. I look forward to taking on new challenges at Y&R Singapore and I’m confident it will be equally thrilling and fulfilling.”

“We’re thrilled that Komal will join our Singapore agency as CCO,” said Tony Granger, Global Chief Creative Officer of Y&R. “Singapore is such a strong agency for us creatively and Komal is going to fit right in. She’s incredibly talented and has the right experience as a CCO for major markets. I can’t wait to see what she does there.”

Commenting on the appointment, Y&R Singapore Managing Director Melvin Kuek said, “We’ve been hard at work brewing significant agency growth projects that kick-started with the LabStore launch last week. This promises to be a stellar year for Y&R Singapore and I am absolutely thrilled to have Komal onboard at a critical time. Beyond her many creative achievements, she thrives on new business challenges as can be seen from Y&R Rediffusion’s resurgence. We had an instant connection when I shared my intent for the agency and I am looking forward to have her add her many strengths towards continued agency growth and success.”
