J. Walter Thompson Group in India puts in a dominant showing at Goafest winning 57 metals

Nike_1.jpgNike_2.jpgJ. Walter Thompson has had a dominant performance at India’s premier Advertising Awards Festival – Goafest 2015. Between J. Walter Thompson India and sister agency Contract Advertising the group won 57 metals. 

J. Walter Thompson India bagged 35 awards, while Contract Advertising won 22 awards.

In third place at Goafest was Taproot Dentsu with 15 awards made up of 1 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze. Ideas@work, Publicis and Scarecrow Communications came equal 4th with 13 awards each. DDB Mudra Group also had a good Goafest winning 10 awards, including 3 Gold trophies.

Linen Lintas won the only Grand Prix of the Festival, along with 3 Golds. They won the Grand Prix in the Direct category for Dabur Vatika premium natural shampoo ‘Brave & Beautiful’.

J. Walter Thompson India won 9 Golds, 8 Silvers and 18 Bronze. The most awarded campaign of last year, Nike’s “Make Every Yard Count” picked up as many as 8 metals followed by Eyeamindian campaign for North East today. Besides these, the work for Tata AIA, Rotary International, ICARE Eye Hospital, Godrej, Save The Children India, Nestle` KitKat and Alpino, Godrej Security Solutions, Kellogg’s and Jeevansathi.com also picked up several awards across various categories.

Contract’s 22 awards included 4 Golds, 8 Silvers and 10 Bronze. They won Gold on Tata Docomo, Asian Paints Royale, Kenstar and Sugar Free.

Besides J. Walter Thompson India and Contract Advertising, digital agency, Hungama Digital Services also picked up awards for their work on Intel (A Look Inside Dharavi) and Hyundai (Hyundai Grand Canvas-Auto Expo).
