Racepoint.jpgIntegrated marketing communications agency Racepoint Global (Asia), has expanded its RPG Studios offering across the Asia region. As the industry continues to shift and evolve, creative content plays an increasingly larger role with the demands of clients and is indicative of the future of communications.

To support the expansion of services and evolving needs, the agency has added three key positions. Noel Wong, has been named Senior Art Director. In this role, Wong is tasked with leading creative integration across the region. Wong has a strong background in user interface builds, coding, video, motion and infographic design.

Concurrent with Wong’s appointment are the additions of Jennifer Russell and Cassie Feng. Russell joins Racepoint’s Hong Kong office as a Multimedia Specialist, and will be responsible for driving powerful video content across Racepoint’s regional client base. Feng joins Racepoint’s Shanghai office as a Multimedia Associate and will support creative strategy; she brings a strong portfolio of experience ranging from data mining and visualization, video content, interaction and graphic design.

These strategic hires are part of the agency’s continued path of growth and integration of digital services and content into its core offer. The team will be led by Boston-based SVP and Group Creative Director, John Gonnella. They will work closely with the global team to execute programs that span a variety of channels including digital, emerging media, video and traditional branding.

“We’ve seen a huge surge in client demand for meaningful content that engages and builds relationships with consumers and stakeholders.” said EVP and Managing Director of Asia, Andrew Laxton.

“With the investment we have made in RPG Studios we have a great team of in-house multimedia, creative and digital experts that specialise in UI design, coding, motion graphics, video shooting, story boarding, copywriting, sound editing, animation, infographics and microsite development.”

“The demand for high quality, engaging, channel segmented content is almost immediate – we don’t see value in an outsourced model, all content creation and amplification should be housed under one integrated communications function.”
