Leo Burnett Vietnam adds two senior talents to drive integrated marketing and strategy

Thao, Sumo, Lukasz.jpgLeo Burnett Vietnam has appointed Nguyen Thi Thao as head of integrated account management and Sumo Banerjee as strategic business lead. The appointments reinforce its commitment towards investing behind senior talents to drive competencies in integrated marketing and strategy.

Speaking about the appointments, Lukasz Roszczyc, managing director Leo Burnett Vietnam (pictured centre) said, “With the transformation of the communication landscape, new needs of our clients, as well as emerging opportunities driven by technology, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels. Both Thao and Sumo will tap into Leo Burnett’s global capabilities in social, content, shopper, mobile, B2B and CRM to deliver the strongest integrated solutions in Vietnam market.”

Nguyen Thi (pictured left) has over 17 years of experience in managing marketing and communication for international brands including Unilever, Coca-Cola, Prudential, GSK, Kimberly-Clark, Panasonic, as well as local brands like Vinamilk, Asia Food, Vietnam Airlines, amongst others. She brings a Vietnamese perspective in driving effectiveness of integrated communication plans. In her new role, she will also be charged with integrating account management with digital capabilities within the agency. Nguyen Thi joins Leo Burnett from Ogilvy & Mather, where she had been for the last 14 years.

Banerjee (pictured right) has 19 years of extensive international experience in communication on both the client and agency’s sides covering media, account management, digital, shopper and planning. With experience working in the emerging markets of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Asia-Pacific, Banerjee has led brands including Nestle, Coca-Cola, Inbev, BAT, JTI, P&G, Samsung and a number of local brands in Russia, India and Vietnam. His substantial expertise in CRM and Shopper will reinforce the agency’s capabilities in these areas.
