Singapore Gong Awards: BBH wins Best of Show + BBDO and Proximity scoops Agency of the Year

IKEA_Book.jpgLast night's Singapore Gong CCA 2014 Awards Show was attended by a sell-out crowd of Singapore's most influential creative & art directors, designers, photographers, production companies, content creators.

Guests were treated to The Gallery, a showcase of finalists' work in all award categories, and a specially built stage set to reflect the evening's theme.

The Solitaire Award went to BBH Asia Pacific for its entry "Ikea BookBook". The Solitaire is the 'Best of Show ... an award that honours ground breaking creativity, exceeding clear high standards on all accounts.
BBH Asia Pacific won 23 Gongs in total. The agency's winnings include Digital Agency of the Year, Campaign Of The Year Solitaire and two Golds for Best of Show awards (in total of nine Golds, six Silvers, and six Bronzes)

BBDOsingapore_gongs.jpgBBDO Proximity Singapore walked away with Agency of the Year, for the second year running. The agency (pictured left) scored 17 Gold awards for their Guinness print campaign alone. Black Design was awarded Design Agency of the Year, and scooped up another award for Independent Agency of the Year. BBH Asia Pacific won Digital Agency of the Year. Production Company of the Year Award went to Freeflow Productions.

Yeong Tze Kuen, Regional Marketing Manager of IKEA was crowned Creative Client of the Year. The Creative Client award is decided by an independent jury who go through a gruelling process to select client marketers who dared to take risks to differentiate their brands and set new industry trends. Asia Pacific Breweries walked away as Advertiser of the Year having bagged the most gold awards as a client, and "Logos against breast cancer: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter" by DDB Singapore for Breast Cancer Foundation won Best of CSR award.

BBH's Germaine Chen and Jasmine Quek took home the Young Art Director of the Year and  Unsung Hero of the Year awards respectively.
