Edelman SingaporePublic relations agency Edelman has celebrated its 25th anniversary in Singapore. Since its opening in 1989, the Singapore office has played a pivotal role in delivering value for clients and partners, further advancing Edelman’s commitment to Asia and the wider region.

“Building on our expertise as leading corporate, government affairs and financial services consultants, the Edelman Singapore office has cemented the firm’s growth strategy,” said Iain Twine, chief executive officer, South East Asia and Australia. “As our Southeast Asia hub, Edelman Singapore consistently demonstrates the global thinking and collaboration that is required to evolve, promote, and protect – the three key elements to success in our new communications marketing strategy.”

Edelman Singapore – a team of more than 100 practitioners and specialists across creative, digital, and content development – is making communications marketing a reality across Southeast Asia by embracing new skills and approaches based on systems thinking, a global view, a focus on analytics and a relentless pursuit of innovation.

Edelman, already the largest public relations agency in Singapore, is embracing the firm’s global communications marketing strategy by broadening the range of talent that works with its clients across the region. In the past year alone, the Singapore office added several strategic appointments to its already strong bench including Kim Hoang as managing director of Edelman Digital, Neil Leslie as creative director, Heidi Eusebio as managing director of Consumer Marketing and John O’Callaghan as director of publishing.

These hires are in addition to the creation of 13 new types of roles to advance Edelman’s digital, strategic planning, research, creative and consumer businesses. Edelman Singapore also continues to deepen its specialization within core businesses of Corporate, Health and Technology.

“We are excited to reflect on the successes that Edelman Singapore has delivered throughout the past 25 years,” said Amanda Goh, managing director of Edelman Singapore. “Our mandate in Singapore is clear – we are scaling as the fifth global hub for Edelman. We have doubled our business over the last five years as a result. We have collaborated with some of the market’s smartest and most creative minds to deliver top-quality work. Today we are building on this solid foundation to meet the needs of CEOs, CMOs and CCOs.”

In its 25-year history, the Singapore office has established two sister brands: Zeno Group, the award-winning mid-size agency, and Edelman Berland, the global market research and strategic consulting arm of the DJE family of companies, which is set to publicly launch in January 2015.
