Singapore’s 2014 Gong Creative Circle Awards releases finalists: DDB, BBDO and Grey are the top performing agencies at shortlist stage

StarHub.jpgThe Gong Creative Circle Awards has announced the finalists for their 2014 Awards show with the top performing agencies, at this shortlist stage, being DDB Group Singapore, BBDO and Proximity Singapore  and Grey Group Singapore. The Gongs, organised each year by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore, are the most prestigious local awards in Singapore.

Overall at the shortlist stage, DDB Group Singapore has the most number of finalists across all categories with 40. Thirteen of these are for their “StarHub 4G” campaign (pictured).

Guinness2.jpgGuinness 3.jpgBBDO and Proximity Singapore has 33 finalists – 25 of them are for Asia Pacific Breweries for their already highly awarded Guinness campaign.

 Grey Group Singapore has snared 30 finalists including 8 for Qatar Airways.

Ali Shabaz, Gong CCA 2014 Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, Singapore & Indonesia, Grey Group said: “This year, we engaged a broader spectrum of the industry to tap the participation of 60 judges from more than 40 agencies and production houses to further raise the quality of judging, and I would like to congratulate all finalists who have made it to this stage. Integrated, Entertainment & Branded Content have grown in the number of entries and this augurs well for the Singapore industry. We are also pleasantly surprised by the encouraging response to media, a new category introduced this year”.

Winners will be announced at the Gong CCA Award Show on Wednesday 26th November 2014.
