By recognizing performance across brand and retail experiences from around the world, US based The Hub Prize promotes innovation and excellence – how brand experience will improve daily lives and create emotional bonds with consumers.

Successful Design Awards from China seeks to honour top international designers and enterprises for the brand designs that are most successful in the Chinese market and have a positive impact in consumers’ lives.

Vivid Homes is a retail model that unlocks the true business potential of the market for B&Q in China. Fitch looked holistically at the future of home improvement and developed the new Vivid brand that reinvents how people renovate their homes. Vivid is pioneering a more collaborative customer experience, setting new home renovation standards in China that stands for quality, safety, and trust. Customers can track the progress of their renovation and share their new home décor experience with their family and friends. Vivid helps people in China to love where they live.

“The Fitch team is amazingly personable and inspirational, with an expertise in developing brands that think out of the box. They worked with B&Q on every aspect of developing our new brand, from an online presence and the design of a flagship store in Shanghai to the design of a staffing model, training and uniforms. Their understanding of the user experience of both customers and staff is second to none,” said Jo Rymill, Creative Director of Vivid Homes China.

The design work for Vivid was carried out by Fitch’s Singapore office, the most awarded in the Fitch network.

Danny Lye, General Manager, commented on the win,” Fitch and Vivid Homes deliver a customer-centric, seamless retail design that impacts the lives of Chinese customers and helps them to build better and safer homes to live in. It has been a privilege and joy to work with Vivid Homes who are both courageous and bold in making it happen.”
