BBDO and Proximity Singapore leads the way with 10 of Asia’s 32 shortlists in Print Poster + Billboard category at London International Awards

Guinness 4.jpgGuinness1.jpgAsia has put in a strong performance at the shortlist stage of the London International Awards Print Poster + Billboard category judging. In total 32 shortlists come from the Asian region and 20 of these are Campaign shortlists.

LIA_PrintPosterJury.jpgThe jury sat for a total of four days and consisted of Wade Alger, senior vice president/group creative director, The Martin Agency, Richmond; Jeremy Craigen, global creative director, adamandeveDDB, London; Richard Denney, executive creative director, DLKWLOWE, London; Rob Feakins, president/chief creative officer, Publicis Kaplan Thaler, New York; David Guerrero, chairman & chief creative officer, BBDO Guerrero/Proximity, Makati City; Gigi Lee, executive creative director, Y&R Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Santosh Padhi, co-founder/chief creative officer, Taproot India, Mumbai.

BBDO and Proximity Singapore, McCann Mumbai, Lowe and Parthers Shanghai and Y&R Beijing are the stars for Asia at this shortlist stage. BBDO and Proximity Singapore leads the way with 10 shortlists, including 3 campaign shortlists, for their highly-awarded Guinness “Draft in a Bottle” campaign.

Lowe and Partners Shanghai has 4 Campaign shortlists for their multi award winning Buick “Stop Signs” campaign and Y&R Beijing also has 4 Campaign shortlists for their Penguin Audiobooks “Mic” campaign.

Agencies with two shortlists apiece are Lowe Vietnam for their OMO “Vs” campaign and Lowe Philippines for the SM Eco Bag campaign.

Single shortlists go to Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong for the Faber-Castell campaign; Red Fuse Hong Kong for thier “Cavities Attack at Night” poster campaign for Colgate; BBDO Pakistan for Reprieve/Foundation for Fundamental Rights “Not a Bug Splat” and Leo Burnett Solutions Sri Lanka for the “The Worlds First Mosquito Repellent Newspaper” concept.

Globally the best performers at this shortlist stage are Adam&EveDDB London, Leo Burnett London, DDB New York, OgilvyOne London, Marcel France and Leo Burnett Toronto.
