Former Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore team Lanfranco + Cordova join Havas NY as CDs

Gian-Rolando.jpgHavas Worldwide has appointed ex Saatchi & Saatchi's Singapore creatives and award-winning duo Gian Carlo Lanfranco (left) and Rolando Cordova (right) as creative directors in the New York office. Lanfranco and Cordova, renowned for their creative ability and success on a global scale, will join the leading integrated communications network's agency headquarters. Havas Worldwide NY is well known for the hugely successful Dos Equis Campaign "The Most Interesting Man in The World" and for their extensive Reckitt Benckiser account that includes Durex, Lysol, etc.

"This is a hugely talented pair, and we're delighted to make their ideas and perspectives available to our clients."

pigeon.jpgLanfranco and Cordova join Havas Worldwide NY from French Hot Shop Fred & Farid, where they recently launched the irreverent Orangina "Statistics Campaign". Prior to Fred & Farid, Lanfranco & Cordova worked on the global MINI business at Bsur Amsterdam, where they launched awarded campaigns for the MINI Countryman and MINI Coupe.

The team began their careers at Saatchi & Saatchi Peru, where they were awarded the first-ever Future Lions in Cannes. They then spent two years at Saatchi & Saatchi's Singapore office, working on the regional Sony Ericsson, Guinness and P&G business helping Saatchi & Saatchi become agency of the year. Then they moved to the Netherlands, where they created global digital work for Coca-Cola at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam.

The appointment at Havas Worldwide NY marks the team's first foray into a US agency. Originally from Lima, Peru, the pair has spent almost a decade living around the globe.

Lanfranco and Cordova have been awarded at all major advertising festivals, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, The Clio Awards, Art Directors Club, London International Awards, Eurobest, Epica, Young Guns, Mobius, New York Festivals, FIAP, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Future Lions and the Singapore Effie Awards. While in Amsterdam, the pair used their spare time to teach at the Miami Ad School and mentor up-and-coming talent. They also served as Juries and speakers at the recent Dubai Lynx Festival and Ojo de Iberoamerica.
