Maud was Australia’s most awarded design business in 2013. As creative director, Park leads a team of design thinkers with extensive knowledge across local and international clients including Google, Diageo, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Carlton United Brewers and Tommy Hilfiger to name a few.

“The design scene in Asia and the Middle East is incredibly vibrant, and I’m expecting to see a lot of world-class work at AdFest this year. It’s an exciting time to be a designer, and I’m honoured to join the line-up of jury presidents at AdFest this year,” says Park.

Originally from London, Park launched Maud in Sydney in 2008. Since then, Maud has emerged as one of the most innovative studios in the region by reimagining the role a brand design studio can have in driving the businesses of its clients.

Maud has partnered with Telstra on the future of retail, participated in the creation of a political party designed to prevent the erosion of Australia’s gun laws, and collaborated with industrial designer Henry Wilson on furniture and other product design.

Maud is also involved in the design and creation of its own products, and believes brand creation is the best preparation for advising clients with their own commercial interests.

“Since moving to Sydney, David has emerged as a design leader within the Asia Pacific. He understands the impact of design on brand performance, and his expertise will be invaluable in the selection of this year’s Design and Print Craft winners,” says Jimmy Lam, president of Adfest.

Adfest 2014 takes place on 6th – 8th March 2014 at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, Thailand. Delegate Passes are now available via adfest.com
