Orbis and Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong trade away darkness in campaign for World Sight Day
40 million people are blind worldwide. Orbis Hong Kong, a non profit organisation, is dedicated to saving sight. For World Sight Day on October 10th Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong created a campaign and micro site that trades away darkness by asking for donations of any item of black that can then be sold on to raise funds. As well as the general public, celebrities also donated items to the online auction. Over $4 million was raised.
