BBDO Bangkok and Proximity China win gongs at international Caples Awards

DriveAwake_03.jpgBBDO Bangkok and Proximity China were the only Asian agencies to win awards at this year’s international Caples Awards held in New York. The Caples Awards honour the best interactive and direct marketing from around the world.

BBDO Bangkok won Silver in Mobile Marketing for their “Drive Awake” app created for the PTT Public Company. Proximity China picked up two Bronze awards for VW “The People’s Car”.

BBDO scored the Most Awarded Agency Network of the Year for the 10th year in a row.

Colenso BBDO/Proximity NZ was the most awarded agency in the world with 15 awards.

DraftFCB New Zealand took away Best In Show for its ‘Driving Dogs’ campaign for MINI and SPCA.

BMF and Lavender emerged as the most awarded Australian agencies with BMF scoring one Gold award and one Bronze and Lavender scoring three Silver awards and four Bronze.

Leo Burnett Melbourne, The Hallway and M&C Saatchi Sydney won one Silver award and one Bronze award each. Droga5 Sydney and Mercerbell each scored a Silver and R/GA Sydney and OgilvyOne Sydney both scored a Bronze award each.
