McCann Health China picks up Best of Show gong at 2013 IPA Best of Health Awards

McCann Health - China Win1.jpgMcCann Health China has been awarded the prestigious ‘Best of Show Consumer’ at the 2013 IPA Best of Health Awards for their campaign ‘Blood Can Do Campaign’ for client Shanghai Blood Administration Office. The award was held in London, June 27 2013.

In addition to receiving the top award of the night, McCann Health China also won Gold for Integrated Idea; Bronze for Out of Home and a Judges Special Awards for Best Use of Illustration.

Yueguo Zhu, Director of Shanghai Blood Administration Office said, “This award is a significant recognition of the transformation in our communication model. Traditionally driven by Government to non-Government as societies behaviour shifts to donating blood without payment. We’re confident to see creativity and innovation can play an increasingly important and critical role in the public service.”

This year’s IPA tally follows McCann Health’s success in the 2012 awards where the agency won 21 awards in 12 categories globally, including Best of Show Healthcare Professionals by McCann Health Torre Lazur for its ‘Another busy day’ campaign which advertised the hypertension drug Edarbi by Takeda.

The IPA Best of Health Awards is now recognised as the top creative advertising awards by healthcare advertising agencies, as they are the only awards given entirely by peers in the industry.
