BMF promotes Simon McCrudden in executive planning director role + makes new appointments

SimonMcCruddenBMF.jpgAustralia: BMF Sydney has appointed Simon McCrudden (left) as executive planning director and promoted David Hartmann to planning director of the Sydney office.

McCrudden will work across the agency’s two offices to oversee BMF’s strategic output for clients such as ALDI, Lion and MLA.

McCrudden has been with BMF for five years and prior to joining the agency he was a planner with Wieden + Kennedy London and DLKW Lowe.

McCrudden, who is based in Melbourne will work closely with Hartmann to drive BMF’s planning offering across both offices.

Hartmann will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day running of planning in the Sydney office. Hartmann joined BMF in 2010 and previously worked at The Campaign Palace and Leo Burnett London.

Says McCrudden: “I’m hugely excited about the role and I’m looking forward to spending more time working across both offices to ensure BMF’s strategic excellence continues to flourish to benefit all our clients’ business.

BMF are further strengthening their planning offering with the hiring of Andrew Wray, a communications planner with extensive experience in the digital and social spheres. Wray most recently worked at Republic of Everyone on NAB, Australian Greens Party and Médecins Sans Frontiéres,
