ADK Japan create the world's first ever chewing gum artist to woo his love on a ferris wheel

Castle.jpgThe 2013 version of amusement mall Sunshine Sakae's film has been launched.

ADK Japan's goal was to attract the main target group in their late teens to early thirties.

Focussing on customer insight that riding a ferris wheel together is a great opportunity to get close to someone.
Ferris.jpgThey developed the core idea that even a man with a special talent, who is different from other people, can find a way to win a woman's heart on a ferris wheel, and created this comical commercial.

As soon as it was aired, it caused a huge reaction on the internet, drawing comments such as "Never seen anything like this!" and "This totally defies an amusement mall's commercials!!".

Execution is way better than the piece in China. Incidentally this male lead looks like BBH China's ECD.
