Nike 'I am the bullet in the chamber' ad featuring Oscar Pistorius yanked from sprinter's website

Screen shot 2013-02-15 at 10.15.18 AM.jpgA Nike ad featuring Oscar Pistorius calling himself 'the bullet in the chamber' has been yanked from the sprinter's website after he was charged in murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his home town Pretoria.

The ad, reportedly part of a 2011 campaign, shows the double-amputee sprinter breaking out of the starting blocks with the tagline "I AM THE BULLET IN THE CHAMBER" accompanied by Nike's signature Just Do It catchphrase. It's one of at least two gun-themed spots the Blade Runner appears in for the company.

Then again, who hasn't gotten legless on Valentines and mistaken his girlfriend for an intruder and put 4 bullets in her.
