Y&R retains Republic of Singapore Navy

MelvinKuek.jpgY&R Singapore has officially retained the Republic of Singapore Navy account.

Y&R remains as agency of record for the Navy until 2014, having handled the business for the past three years.

Melvin Kuek, Managing Director of Y&R Singapore (pictured) said, "The Republic of Singapore Navy is not only an important client, but we are proud of the important role it performs in protecting our waters as well as those further afield - such as recently in the Gulf of Aden."

Continued Kuek, "It is testimony to the hard yards put in by everyone in the agency that we now see Y&R Singapore going from strength to strength with the retention of cornerstone client M1, winning BMW, and now extending our relationship with the Republic of Singapore Navy. We look forward to continuing this momentum in 2013 and building creative and commercial success with all our clients."

Kuek was named Managing Director of Y&R Singapore in June 2012, soon after Y&R Singapore welcomed renowned creative Farrokh Madon on-board as Chief Creative Officer.
