Ronald Ng, CCO at BBDO/Proximity Singapore, joins AdFest as Jury President of Press Lotus

Ronald Ng.jpgRonald Ng, the Chief Creative Officer behind some of Asia's most-awarded print advertising campaigns, is joining AdFest 2013 as Jury President of Press Lotus.

Originally training as a copywriter, Ng has more than 20 years advertising experience including eight years at BBDO in Malaysia, New York and Singapore.

"I am absolutely honored to be given the opportunity to head the AdFest Press Lotus jury. Though Asia is brilliant in all disciplines today, Press remains a forte of this region. This is testimony to the level of ideation and craft that this region is truly blessed with," says Ng, Chief Creative Officer at BBDO/Proximity Singapore.

"The static medium has always, and will always be a daunting canvas to decorate. But somehow, we are delighted by amazing work at AdFest year after year. I'm sure this year will be no different."
As Chief Creative Officer at BBDO/Proximity Malaysia, Ng oversaw the creation of one of the world's most awarded Print and Outdoor campaigns, 'Two Worlds' for Jeep, which helped the agency rank 8th in the Gunn Report's 2010 ranking. In 2010, Ng was the world's No.4 most awarded Chief Creative Officer (Gunn Report) and ranked as Asia's No.1 Creative (Campaign Brief Asia).

In August 2012, Ronald took on the role of Chief Creative Officer of BBDO/Proximity Singapore. He is also currently head of the BBDO Asia Creative Council.

"AdFest is a true celebration of Asian creativity. It's a prestigious platform of the best ideas from this region, which also eventually go on to conquer award shows around the world. The privilege to have a first peek into the next big thing from Asia, and for the year, makes AdFest the amazing showcase that it is," says Ng,

Jimmy Lam, President of AdFest, says: "There is a new breed of creative leaders in the Asia Pacific who are putting agencies in this region on the map. Ronald is one of these leaders: passionate, talented and made in Asia - he is the perfect choice as Jury President of Press Lotus at AdFest 2013."
