SapientNitro bolsters investment in Asia Pacific region with key leadership moves
SapientNitro,
part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), today announced that senior vice
president Dr. Christian Oversoh (left)l has transitioned to the position
of Asia Pacific (APAC) lead and has re-located to Singapore. In this
role, Oversohl is responsible for growing SapientNitro's business in the
current geographies of China, Singapore, Australia and India, as well
as driving expansion across the region.A 12-year Sapient veteran, Oversohl most recently led the European business through a period of significant growth. He will continue to report to president and chief executive officer Alan J. Herrick and will work closely with SapientNitro Europe and North America leaders to ensure cross-geographic collaboration, particularly in support of global accounts.
Joining Oversohl is Kim Douglas (left) a three year SapientNitro veteran, who
has transitioned from his role as managing director of the consumer
products business for Europe to head up the Singapore office. As
managing director for Singapore, Douglas is focused on growing the
regional hub and driving the expansion of key global clients across the
region.Says Herrick: "Having this new, strengthened leadership team in place in the Asia Pacific region allows us to best serve our growing client base and to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity we see in this market. Christian, with his seasoned leadership, vast experience and immensely successful track record in the European market, is best positioned to lead this business. Under Oversohl's direction, the newly expanded Singapore office is already working with some of the world's strongest global brands such as Citi, Unilever, Credit Suisse, and Coca Cola, as well as leading brands in the region, including RACQ, SingTel and Ferrero China.
