Phyllis Han joins IPG Mediabrands as Regional Communications Planning Director

Phyllis Han.jpgIPG Mediabrands has appointed Phyllis Han as Regional Communications Planning Director. This new role will see Han based in Singapore where she will report directly to Natalie Pidgeon, Chief Strategy Officer, IPG Mediabrands APAC.

This leading role within Mediabrands will see Han primarily supporting the core brands of UM and Initiative focusing on strategy, creative output, communications planning, account management and servicing, intellectual property development and thought leadership.

Han will work with IPG Mediabrands' clients across Asia Pacific and will work closely with Mediabrands regional strategy team, research, tools, analytics and digital disciplines to ensure 360 degree thinking across the agencies roster of clients

Han is a creative and dynamic marketing professional, with 12 years of multi-national experience. She has worked in marketing and communication strategy and brand building and management from across a variety of industries and brings to IPG Mediabrands experience from working in Australia, Singapore and China.
Han joins IPG Mediabrands from Starcom Mediavest China & Singapore where she most recently served as Business Director, Procter & Gamble, a role she has held since January 2012. Prior to that, she served as Regional Communications Director, Procter & Gamble since April 2010. From 2008 to 2009, Han worked at the Singapore Tourism Board where she was  responsible for Brand Development and Management, Global.
 
Natalie Pidgeon commented on the new appointment, welcoming Han to the agency, "Phyllis has exceptional experience in which she will leverage to be a valid part of a broader team responsible for interpreting data about consumers and brands in order to generate piercing consumer insights. She has the ability to frame activity around a compelling connection idea and is able to translate those ideas into an integrated and amplified channel plans.
