Hakuhodo Tokyo is the most awarded Japanese agency at LIA winning Gold, Silver and 3 Bronze

Google.jpgWith a total of 12 Statues Japan leads the way at this year’s London International Awards.

Hakuhodo Tokyo is the best performing Japanese agency with five Statues, all for work they created on Google Chrome. Hakuhodo won Gold in Design – Branded Content for Google Maps titled “8 BIT”. The agency also won Silver in Digital – Online Games for Google Chrome titled “The Google Puzzle”. Two Bronze LIAs were awarded for Google Chrome titled “OK Go – All is Not Lost” in the categories of Design – Motion Graphics – Typography and Digital – Microsites. Their final Bronze statue was awarded for TV/Cinema/Online Film – Best Use of Innovation for Google Chrome titled “Hatsune Miku”

Dentsu_EastJapanRailway.jpgDentsu_EastJapanRail.jpgDentsu Tokyo was also a big winner with Gold in Design – Poster Campaign for East Japan Railway Company titled “Get Back, Tohoku.” “One Line Connects Us All”, “First Visit, Now First in My Heart”, “Let Yourself Be Impressed”, “Extra Helpings of Happiness (Seconds Anyone?)” and “Come See What We Call Date” and a Silver in Package Design – Pharmaceuticals for Magic 1Day Menicon Flat Pack plus a Bronze in Radio – Innovative use of Radio for Honda Smile Mission titled “Car Radio-Personality”

In addition to the achievements listed above Dentsu Tokyo attained Finalist status in Design – Poster Campaign for the Yoshida Hideo Memorial Foundation/Advertising Museum Tokyo – One’s Battle titled “Fools Never Are Suspicious”, “I Fear. I Think”, “Clueless Friends ARE Your Enemy”, “Cunning is Beautiful”, “It’s All Right” is Not So All Right” and “Originality Comes to Power” and for DESIGN FEVER! titled “777”, “Casino”, “Moe” and “SF”.

Nori.jpgI&S BBDO Tokyo also won a Gold in Design – Client Promotion for Umino Seaweed Store titled “Design NORI” (see left) and they attained Finalist status in Design – Posters for Ninshinihon Funeral Parlor titled “Life is Endless”.

TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo won a Silver statue in TV/Cinema/Online Films – Music – Innovative Use of Music and Sound for COGOO for Bicycle Shop For Youth titled “Turntable Rider”, a Bronze in Design – Environmental Installations/Displays – Temporary for IKEA titled “Skima Gallery” and they attained Finalist status in The NEW for MIRAINIHON Project titled “The Future of Japan”.

Gtdi. Co. Ltd Tokyo were awarded Bronze in Package Design – Wines for Rice Magic Sparkling Sake.

 

Engine FilmsTokyo attained Finalist status in Integrated Campaign for Ice no mi titled “The Secret Idol” and Hakuhodo Kettle, Tokyo attained Finalist status in Integrated Campaign for Google titled “Memories For The Future”.
