DDB China fills group planning director role

Jenny Liu DDB col.jpgDDB China Group has promoted Jenny Liu to Group Planning Director, based in the agency’s Shanghai office. Liu will report directly to DDB Greater China Group President & CEO, Dick van Motman. She will be responsible for all business and creative planning for the group in Shanghai, working closely with the Greater China Planning team as well as Managing Directors and all business unit heads.

A British born Hong Kong Chinese, Liu has extensive UK retail experience from High Street (C&A, Tesco) to High End (Harrods, Space NK). With her Chinese ethnicity, local experience and global understanding, Liu drives local relevancy of global brands and communications, providing valuable input from immersions, insights to impact and ideas.

Liu has more than 12 years experience in strategic planning, business development, brand planning and cross-media strategy in China.  She has been with the Group for over five years working across key International clients such as Johnson & Johnson (Neutrogena, Clean & Clear), Lipton, Pepsi China Non Carbonated Beverages (Tropicana, Gatorade, Innovation, Pepsi Lipton International), PepsiCo Food (Quaker), Tourism Australia and Electrolux,
