McCann Worldgroup hires Tony Poon to fill newly created Regional Director of Performance role

TonyPoon.jpgMcCann Worldgroup has appointed Tony Poon to the newly created position of Asia Pacific Regional Director in Performance.

Based out of McCann Worldgroup’s Regional Headquarters in Singapore, Poon (pictured left) will be responsible for leveraging the power of data to advise clients on developing an analytical and data-driven approach across all facets of their business, including marketing and communications.

Prior to joining McCann Worldgroup, Poonwas the Global Head of CRM Analytics at A.S. Watson Group, a global retailer, where he outlined and drove large scale, top-line growth CRM programmes.  Poon developed his expertise in brand sciences in The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Brand Management team and earned his digital stripes at Cathay Pacific Airways, while at Morgan Stanley, he gained experience in the field of financial analysis.

While at McCann Worldgroup, Poon held the position of APAC Head of Analytical Services, leading a team of analysts in Hong Kong and Beijing at MRM Worldwide, McCann Worldgroup’s leading digital agency.  He serviced clients across a wide spectrum of industries from technology to consumer goods including Dell, Microsoft, Intel, Avaya, Nestle, Estee Lauder Group, adidas Group, AT&T Wireless, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, and Johnson & Johnson.
