Dentsu Tokyo wins Titanium Lion for Honda

Dentsu Tokyo has been awarded one of only 5 Titanium Lions handed out at the final gala awards ceremony in Cannes. They won for Honda Internavi ‘Connecting Lifelines’.
In the Integrated category Asia’s only Lion winner was Hakuhodo Tokyo who won Bronze for Google Japan ‘Memories of the Future’.
The Titanium Grand Prix went to R/GA for Nike+ Fuelband.

The realer Asian creative work gets, the more genuinely cutting-edge, the more interesting the fusion of creative + technology (all the cliches that the rest of Asia just spouts)…the more likely it is to be Japanese.
Sad that both their winners in Cannes’ toughest category were born from a natural disaster, but uplifting that the ad industry responded to it in this way.
