Skittles: Bleachers When you’re confronted with a Skittles ad your expectations are high. This execution met with mine. Although I’ve seen better, it’s funny, weird, unusual… it has everything Skittles is all about. And the part when the girl pulls one off the boys cheek and eats it, is simply unforgettable.

TV RUNNER UP: Home Office: Teen Rape This disturbing ad probably touches teens where most ads fail, making them aware of what rape actually is. The window “seeing yourself in action” concept really makes you stop and think about your actions.

Voicez Sound Producer: Stories, a simple, straightforward execution that conveys what sound tracks are all about, an amazing print ad that you can actually hear for a sound production company.

PRINT RUNNER UP: Mentos Sour Marbels: Head 2, print is supposed to catch your attention and this ad does just that, but conveying mixed feelings, given the art is not easy to swallow, precisely what this sour product is somehow supposed to do.

Art Series Hotels: Steal Banksy It’s amazing how much buzz this simple, yet unusual idea scored for the brand. It’s also great to hear that a Client would go ahead with it, given security is such a relevant issue for hotels. I’m still wondering how the winner got away with the artwork.

OUTDOOR RUNNER UP: D’Addario Strings: tribes Posters that make sound, and people can actually play? That single line alone strikes me as a great idea. And the execution is beautiful. Each piece is a work of art.

Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) Singapore: Sort Me Out I actually don’t know if Alzheimer’s patients realize when they begin to lose their memory, nevertheless, this app is pretty frightening given you realize you are actually losing all the information stored in yours. You empathize with the disease, the victims an wonder about your own future. Amazing.

INTERACTIVE RUNNER UP: Camry: Camry Effect I’m a pretty big fan of my car, but I actually don’t think I would take the time to blog about it. That’s not the case for Camry drivers, they are really keen about their cars, and for years! Their brand loyalty is naturally expressed through this interactive idea. I don’t know if I’d buy a Camry, but now I know why so many people do.
