Euro RSCG’s Matt Fanshawe to transfer to London office as digital Global Brand Director

matt.jpgAfter 10 years in Asia the Managing Director of Euro RSCG Asia-Pacific, Matt Fanshawe, will relocate from Singapore to London.

Fanshawe has taken on a new role in the network as the digital Global Brand Director at the same time, he will become an Executive Director of EHS 4D UK – Euro RSCG’s cutting edge direct, digital and data agency. In this role, he will report to Kate Robertson, Chairman UK & Tash Whitmey, Group CEO EHS 4D UK, based in the EHS 4D offices in London.

During his time with Euro RSCG in Asia Pacific, Fanshawe drove growth, reputation and attracted talent across the region and significantly grew the digital operations of the integrated Euro RSCG offices across the region. Under his leadership, Euro RSCG Singapore was crowned “Agency of the Year” in 2009.

“Matt’s been with the network for over 11 years and has worked in the UK, US and Asia. He has been key in driving our business forward in Asia-Pacific, a region of critical importance to both ourselves and global brands. His depth of knowledge will be a real asset to deepening our digital relationships” said George Gallate, Global Chairman, Euro RSCG 4D.

Euro RSCG recently announced new management in Southeast Asia, with the hires of Renuka Jaypal to the newly created position of CEO, Southeast Asia and Victor Ng to the role of CCO, Southeast Asia. “The hiring of Renuka and Victor into South East Asian leadership roles completed our regional strengthening and makes Matt’s move possible” added Juan Rocamora, Chairman of Asia Pacific.

During his past ten years with the agency in Asia, Fanshawe has served in various roles from running the regional Intel account from Hong Kong to being the MD in Singapore to being the MD of Asia Pacific. During this time, he has worked on major accounts including Intel, Dell, Changi Airport, NTUC Fairprice, Orange, DBS, Carlsberg, and Coca-Cola. Prior to this, Fanshawe held positions in North America, Europe and Asia at agencies including Y&R, Wunderman and FCB.

Fanshawe’s new role is effective April 2nd.
