Bobby Pawar confirmed to be joining JWT India as Chief Creative Office and Managing Partner

Bobby.jpgAs reported Monday JWT India has confirmed they have hired creative heavyweight Bobby Pawar as its Chief Creative Office and Managing Partner for India, adding fresh momentum to the advertising agency’s bid to strengthen and grow its Indian operations.

“I’m excited about the future, and look forward to ensuring our work and the solutions we deliver are the best in the market. We will set the pace in India, as we transform to being an effective creative powerhous” said Pawar.

He joins JWT from Mudra Group, where he served as Chief Creative Officer. Pawar’s career in the advertising industry spans the globe: he has worked for Ogilvy Mumbai, Tara Sinha Associates and Rediffusion in India, and Ogilvy & Mather New York and BBDO Chicago. He returned to India, and joined Mudra, in 2007 and has worked with many tier-one brands, including Volkswagen, Emirates, Philips, Lifesavers and AT&T.
