Eric Yeo to move from Ogilvy Singapore to Ogilvy Philippines as Group Executive Creative Director
Ogilvy veteran creative, Eric Yeo, is moving to The Philippines to take up the position of Group Executive Creative Director at O&M Philippines.
Yeo (left) is currently a creative director with Ogilvy Singapore. In his new role, he will be working closely with Randy Aquino, Head of Country, Ogilvy Philippines, to develop and implement the agency’s creative agenda.
“We are excited to have Eric on board,” said Aquino. “He has worked with our team before, and there was definitely chemistry there. Not only is Eric a multi-awarded and seasoned creative director, he also has the perfect combination of Asian cultural sensibilities and international standards. As a creative leader, Eric is a very nurturing person who is selfless when it comes to sharing his ideas and experience and relentless in his pursuit for creative excellence.”
With Yeo’s appointment as Group ECD, the creative management restructuring of Ogilvy Philippines is finally complete as he heads a team of young, passionate and multi-awarded creative leads across the Ogilvy Philippines Group: Mike Sicam, Creative Director for OgilvyOne; Alnair Langkay, Creative Director for RedWorks; and the tandem of Gerry Cacanindin and Lito Gemora, Creative Directors for O&M Advertising.
Yeo will be overseeing the creative output for the agency’s clients across the disciplines, such as Unilever, Kraft Johnson & Johnson, KFC, Nike and Nestle. Yeo is no stranger to the industry, having racked up awards aplenty. Most recently he nabbed a prestigious Yellow Pencil for his work for Faber Castell at this year’s D&AD.

Dear Eric, I luuuuurve your work! Can I send you my CV? Ogilvy Rocks!
Singapore welcomes the creative rejects of the world (we all know who they are) and agencies give them plum jobs.
Even when they fail, they fail upwards.
At least in the case of Eric, he will show the others what a true Foreign Talent is.
Just make sure you treat the locals with respect and you will set a benchmark of how good expat leadership can be.
Gud lak sa ‘yo.
Steady bro! You will always be my favorite art “master”.
Sure you do OK there, just sad you have to go overseas to show you got what it takes.
Best of luck Eric, know how much you love the city too.
