BBH Asia Pacific launches Wifi trial campaign on board Malaysia’s KLIA Express train

YTL1.jpgAs part of the ongoing YES! campaign to launch YTL Communications 4G internet network BBH Asia Pacific launched the Wifi trial campaign on board the high speed KLIA Express train that will run over the next three months.

The KLIA Express is a premium high-speed train service that connects Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Kuala Lumpur city centre. From 19th November, since the brand launched in Malaysia (and for the next three months) YES offers passengers free uninterrupted 4G mobile internet access while travelling on the trains.

BBH Asia Pacific was asked by YTL Communications to deliver a strongly branded station and train domination over the launch period to high-light the free YES 4G service and encourage train travel.

YTL2.jpgIt was a large undertaking involving the production of over 30 separate creative assets to fit hundreds of spaces. Both traditional media space as well as more bespoke areas were utilised. So whether is was a backlit poster, an escalator wrap or even train carriage branded barriers you couldn’t miss the impact of YES. When coupled with two temporary retail spaces within the station the effect was complete.

BBH Asia Pacific was appointed to the YTL Communications business in May this year, arguably the biggest account win in South East Asia during 2010.

BBH developed an integrated brand campaign for YTL Communcations, which includes strategy, corporate identity and packaging, retail experience, communications and activation that will roll out across Malaysia over the next few months.
