BBH Asia Pacific conceptualised the series and appointed renowned entertainment TV production company activeTV to develop and produce the eight episode series.

‘Can You Serve?’ explores what it is like to serve and be served in Singapore, and provides insight into the varied and diverse challenges as well as immense opportunity the industry has to offer. The reality TV format allows the potentially dry subject matter to be tackled in a fun, engaging and entertaining manner.

“Everyone has an opinion on service, but few of us appreciate just what goes into getting it right. The show challenges members of the public, and the viewers, to answer the question: Can You Serve? It delivers eight weeks of entertainment, drama and surprise that takes us straight to the heart of what the service industry really faces” says Noel Yeo, Creative Director, BBH Asia Pacific.

‘Can You Serve?’ puts contestants’ customer service skills to the ultimate test. Nine contestants compete against each other in various challenging roles across different service-oriented industries for the top prize of $70,000 in cash and $30,000 in training opportunities.

The contestants undergo brief training in each episode to acquire vital skills to prepare them for each task – be it as a coffee barista in episode 1- or other roles in the service sector that become more challenging as the episodes and contestants progress.
